Journal of Adolescent & Adult Literacy (JAAL)
International Reading Association (IRA)
A literacy journal for teachers of older learners, youth and adult. Offers practical ideas for instruction grounded in research and theory, covering topics such as barriers to literacy and reading strategies. Also includes resource and book reviews, advice on integrating technology, media, and popular culture into the classroom, and descriptions of relevant trends, issues, and policies. Most articles are available to subscribers only. This is a really good site but the articles can be very technical and complex. May not be a good site for a practitioner.
