Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy
Information on state literacy initiatives in Texas, Florida, and Maine. Includes a section on the foundation's National Grants Program and several publications on family literacy, including First Teachers: A Family Literacy Handbook for Parents, Policy-makers, and Literacy Providers.

Goodling Institute for Research in Family Literacy
Supports family literacy through research, professional development, and policy analysis. Resources include a comprehensive research agenda, an extensive annotated bibliography, family literacy training and certification for instructors, a study circle guide, and a series of policy briefs on Even Start and the national evaluation of family literacy.

Harvard Family Research Project (HFRP)
Harvard Graduate School of Education
Founded in 1983 at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, HFRP helps philanthropies, policymakers, and practitioners develop strategies to promote the educational and social success and well-being of children, families, and their communities. It also collects, analyzes, and synthesizes research and information to foster continuous improvement and learning. Publishes The Evaluation Exchange, a newsletter that focuses on innovative methods and approaches to evaluation, emerging trends in evaluation practices, and practical applications of evaluation theory.

National Center for Family Literacy (NCFL)
NCFL promotes, advocates, and sustains family literacy programs across the U.S. Advocates for family literacy policies at the national and state level, designs and demonstrates new practices, provides staff development and technical assistance, and conducts research on family literacy programs and practices. QUILT (Quality in Linking Together Early Education Partnerships)
QUILT, a national training and technical assistance project, supports partnerships among childcare, Head Start, pre-kindergarten and other early education programs at all levels. Partnership tools section contains a wealth of resources that may be relevant to many adult education providers.
